Hi, I'm Bianca, born and raised in Southern Africa (Zimbabwe). I moved to Canada at the age of 21 and have been here for the last two decades now with my beautiful daughter and dog. Growing up I was inspired by my mom, aunts, and grandma whom all loved to create beautiful spaces and objects by decorating homes, sewing, knitting, making baskets, and creating pottery.
Even though at the time, their teachings didn't register as a blessing, they still stuck with me. I'm so grateful for these women in my life - I learnt so much from them. Growing up, I was that kid that wanted to help with all the creative stuff and never wanted to play outside! I loved watching and learning as my aunt selected different textures of fabric. I would watch her sew, install wallpaper, choose paint colors, coordinate it all, and come up with something amazing that transformed a space into a home. I always joke that if she was in this part of the world back then, she would have been as recognized as Martha Stewart.
I have a passion for creating functional and beautiful spaces everywhere I go. I'm a bit of an introvert and enjoy working on my crafts with my cup of tea in hand. I am a very hands-on person and designer. You will rarely find me with nothing to do. During my spare time, I'm always redecorating, creating, gardening, painting, or upcycling vintage furniture to make my space or someone else's more pleasing to the eye. So, in short, I'm always designing or decorating something and I would not trade it for anything!
My diverse experience in Event Décor, Real Estate, and Home Building have all led me to this point as a decorator and designer. With the realization of my purpose, I took Design and Marketing courses to help me understand and build my business skills. In this industry education never stops, there is always something new and interesting to learn which I love!
I love what I do and I'm grateful that all my clients have been pleased with each project thus far. I intend to continue to share my passion with future clients and designers, turning their dreams and mine into a reality.
